We spent one night in the tent cabins at Colter Bay while traveling through Grand Tetons. I was a bit concerned about how comfortable the bunks would be hanging on the wall - but we all got a good night sleep. The cabins were a good change of pace from camping. There was a stove inside to keep warm, but... More

We only stayed here one night. The cabin was far bigger than we needed - three beds, just for the two of us - and plenty of space. The village itself seemed ok. We had a look at the visitor centre and walked around the lake. Half of the restaurant was closed as it was near the end of the... More

I stayed in one of the Colter Bay cabins that did not have the restroom within the room. I was just trying to save some bucks and probably would do it again. Not a big deal to walk a few steps outside to go to the restroom. The cabin was very comfortable and roomy. Added feature for me (some of... More

Spent 2 nights "unplugged" from the tech world at Colter Bay Village Cabins in August 2012. We had a 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin (2 double beds & 1 twin). Very large room, with comfortable beds and nice rustic furniture, including a desk. Bathroom was private/attached just like a hotel room and adequate. Shower was a bit small and dark,... More

The average is for the overall location, but the cabins are poor. Teton cabins are in need of much over due repairs. I recently stayed at the Colter Bay Cabins and found my much-loved cabins in disrepair and neglect. I haven’t been there for about ten years and they look like they have received little maintenance in that time. The... More

My friend and I stayed in a cabin with shared bath at Colter Bay in August. The room was big and comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and close to the room. The other occupants were considerate and quiet. The icemaker in the main cabin was very helpful.

We spent 3 nights in a Colter Bay cabin in early September. I had read about and had seen photos of the cabins so I was prepared for this historic, somewhat rustic accommodation. It was pretty basic as I expected, but there were some nice touches, too, like the colorful blankets, cute throw pillow on the bed, and homey cotton... More

We loved the idea of a historic cabin on Lake Jackson, but would rather drive on to other accomodations in the future. Check in was easy enough, although it was obvious the young man handling proceedures had a set speach and didn't care for questions before he'd finished. The cabin was easy to find, with parking near by. We were... More

Stayed two nights in early September in the two bedroom cabin. Traveling with mother-in-law so this was perfect. If you are expecting the Hilton with all the amenities and connection to all your social media, you will be disappointed but if you are looking for quiet seclusion in a wooded setting, go for it. Used it as a base for... More

We were doing a bird/animal watching tour in a party of 14, from all different parts of the UK. The Tour started at Salt Lake City (Ogden) moved to Grand Tetons, then Yellowstone. The return journey included Montpelier then Ogden, before returning home via Salt Lake City. The tour was arranged via Ornitholidays in the UK, who I believed used... More
