SVR is out of the way and part the fun is getting there on the Lady of the Lake. Once there you can zip around in the valley on the regular shuttle. My family has stayed at SVR every summer since I was three years old (I'm now seventeen). Amazing place to get away for a few days or a week or two - fabulous food, breathtaking scenery, warm comfy accomodations, great people, and lots of options for the whole family as far as recreations is concerned.
