“Good, but not as good as the hotel website says”

If you have to be in New Taipei, there doesn't seem to be too many choices of good hotels. So settle for Chateau de Chine. It's a block from the MRT, quick to the airport and close to a night market, and to Fu Jen University. Otherwise, there is not much going for the neighborhood. As for the hotel itself,... More

Spent the 1st night of this trip in Taipei at this hotel. It was booked by a friend, who had some corporate rates so pricing is quite reasonable. Hotel is very new & spacious. Fabulous interior, with LCD monitor & nice bathroom. However, location is quite out of the way. We had to take 45min bus ride to reach XinMenTing.... More
