It was well worth the effort to get to this B&B, and satnav really helped, although ours didn't get us all the way to Belle Vue Lane (put in Upper Cwmbran Road if yours can't find it, and do your homework on a Google map before you go!) Be prepared for the two hairpin bends and steepness of the climb... More

We stayed at Gelliravog for a week and absolutely enjoyed it. The hosts, Charmaine and Chris, were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The room was very beautiful, cosy and clean. We loved the very good breakfast and really enjoyed the vivid conversations with Charmaine and Chris at the breakfast table. The area and vicinity are picturesque. The... More

We picked Gelligravog Farm because of previous Tripadvisor reviews and also because of its location. We stayed 2 nights and hiked up the hill behind the farm the afternoon of our arrival and the next day we saw Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey and Raglan Castle. All 3 were within easy driving of the farm and were just spectacular. The farm... More

I stayed here one night when I was working in the local area. I chose it due to the high ratings on trip advisor and I wasn't disappointed. A very friendly welcome from Charmaine despite my late arrival from London. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was adequate but not ladened with products like some are... More

What a pleasure it was to find this B&B and meet the couple who own it. I did have a few troubles locating it at first, mainly due to finding it difficult to accept word for word the accurate directions I had received and giving in to the dreaded "it can't be up this way" feeling-my first time to this... If you want to sample a piece of fairy tale Wales then this is your pick of picks! The road twists and turns up the mountain to reveal a hidden away, beautiful farm house/cottage. With mountain walks all around, beautiful views and wildlife, it makes you fell like you are a part of the community there... Just without doing any... More

We were staying here for several nights while visiting family and friends in Cwmbran. We were explicitly looking for a B&B on the mountain and were not disappointed by the amazing location of Gelligravog and an excellent view.It felt like being far away from the town, but was only a short drive up the hill. The farmhouse and the lovely... More

We booked to attend a wedding nearby. Gelligravog is situated in a beautiful quiet setting with wonderful views. Charmaine was very welcoming and everything was perfect, really homely and comfortable. Excellent value, we highly recommend it and wish we had stayed longer.
