We have just returned from gpb after another great relaxing holiday just what we expected and needed. Its not Sandals and i hope it never is. It is a clean freindly resort not a five star if you are looking for that book Sandals! The staff and GPB are the freindliest people you will meet all speak to you from... More

My Partner and I travelled to the GP beack in March. Working for a travel company I have sold this hotel may times and was really keen as we have so many repeat customers. I must say I hope to be a repeat customer myself now. The hotel does need some updating, but found it very welcoming. We had a... More

On arrival we were greeted with cold drinks and face cloths, much appreciated after a hot journey. Check in was quick and easy, accomodation was excellent.the food was first class with an excellent buffet breakfast, lunch was good, but I found you could eat too much and not leave enough room to enjoy dinner.Dinner was buffett style except on themed evenings when you could... This was our first time to the Caribbean and we were looking forward to GPB very much. However, although our room was clean it was basic. It lacked a refrigerator and some form of obscured curtain at the window for privacy. The most disappointing aspect of the holiday was the lack of hygiene in all areas where food was served.... More

This hotel is not Sandals and it doesn't want to be. It is very Caribbean and in my opinion is probably 3.5 - 4 stars. We had a garden view room on the ground floor. My first impression was not completely positive (probably due to tiredness) but the room grew on me and was clean with a very large verandah... More

Bought a package to the GPB hotel through BA. Although Sandals do own it , it is not a Sandals holiday, that said I have a very enjoyable holiday with a nice room, lovely location , friendly staff , good watersports and ok food. Location; The hotel is located on its own estate with all its own services. The beach... More

This was our first trip to Antigua but was everything we could have hoped for. Yes parts of the hotel were a bit tired, but we had an ocean view room which was clean , had a good view of the ocean and a good size. I would say that on our last day we were given a garden room... More

This place SHOULD be nice, however, it isnt! The hotel is in a amazing location and the majority of the staff are friendly and polite. The hotel itself is very dated and resembles an early 90s Holiday Inn on a bad day! The food is poor and pretty much the same every night and the Pineapple Grill is a total... More

Situated on the East side of Antigua this hotel had great fascilities and beautiful beach. We toured the Island and think this beach was definately one of the best. The ocean view rooms are are situated up a hill so lots of steps. The sea sports facilities excellent - great snorkelling, hobie cat boats! Plenty of sun beds but even... More

Our first trip in April 2012 where we had a wonderful restful holiday. Our room was an Ocean-view 602 which was perfect! We had two levels with two balconies, all looking out at the ocean and beach. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially when my husband had a fall playing soccer on the beach! Mary's is a must! Great... More
