The Sandpiper is a small lot of 9 apartments. There are studio apartments then there are bedroom apartments. They all have a name along with a number.ie.....room 6 is 'Exstacy' or room 2 is 'Twiddle Dee'.There were just one other couple staying here when we arrived therefore we practically had the place to ourselves. There is an outside bar-b-q propane gas grill for... I've been to Bermuda many, many times. Last time, several friends and family members joined me for a milestone birthday. We took six or seven of the apartments at The Sandpiper. We all loved that these units and the pool are kept spotlessly clean. This is not a full-service hotel but rather a Housekeeping apartment. We each had full one-bedroom... More

Garden has gorgeous fragrant frangipani tree and inviting pool. Well kept. Big low budget room on very busy road. Loud air conditioner drowned road sounds. Very small ants in bath. Staff nicely provided aerosal spray. More like real island beach rental than fancy hotels. Suggest OK sleep after beaches/sightseeing/dinner elsewhere. Bus connection very convenient, just watch schedule times. More

The Sandpiper was extremely disappointing. We refused to stay in the first apartment we were offered, it was dark, dingy and needed complete refurbishment. The second was somewhat better but still very tired. We were due to stay a week but checked out after four nights. The view from the lounge/kitchen was of what appeared to be a run down... More

DO NOT GO THERE> Their description is not true. The beach is awful and not as near as they say. The accomodation is filthy. The proprietor rude and frightening. We left shortly after we arrived as the place was unacceptable but were penalised for two nights at 155 per night before we were allowed to leave by taxi which we... More

We stayed at Sandpiper for 4 nights last May for a last-minute getaway. This was a wonderful bargain for Bermuda, especially in high-season when other hotels were 2-3 times the price -- rooms were clean, basic, not fancy, comfortable bed, kitchen was adequate (we only used it for breakfast). We had no security problems. Unlike a hotel, you're on your... More

I am very happy with my choice to stay at Sandpiper. I booked a 9 night stay at the Sandpiper the last week in July. My room was clean and spotless on my arrival and during my stay. The room was very spacious for a studio, although it was 2 of us, I am sure 3 people would be comfortable... More

Was a guest at the Sandpiper and woke up on after the 3rd night of our stay to find the door ajar and our cash missing. The management did not seem the least bit surprised or concerned. Instead they struggled for ways to shift blame instead of being geniunely concerned for the security of their guests and facility. Neither the... More

someone broke into my room while i was sleeping, they used a key. My money was stolen. The manger and the owner, father and daughter were rude. Blamed me. I was told, you are a black american girl and you come to the island and pick up men, that is why you got robbed. They did nothing to help out.... More
