The location is perfect for walking around the downtown area. It is super convenient to everything. The rooms - at least our room - was dark and quite small. This would have been ok if there had not been mold on the walls near the AC.Breakfast was okay, but dinner was not good. I found some of the staff to... More

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights on our honeymoon. The hotel was built in 1875 and looks pretty damn magnificent for being over 100 years old. We had great experiences with all of the staff and the services they provided. When we initially checked in, we were given a room that did not have a balcony and... More

Let us start with all that I found disappointing... -THE BAD- Apart from the cleaners, the staff go out of their way to be unhelpful with a constant air of nonchalance about any of your needs, no matter how basic (such as helping bring our luggage to the fourth floor when the lift was jammed) A prime example: We booked... Cool atmosphere, great view at Parque Central, next door to the Capitol. Rooms are small, but who cares! Breakfast is good , lunch and snacks are fine. More

We loved the idea of staying in a historical hotel right on the square...but we should have taken the previous reviews more to heart...the rooms are very small...and the bathrooms even smaller. Let's just say when sitting on the toliet...your feet have to be in the shower...the front patio was fun and lively with food and music...but I would stay... More

What a fabulous hotel this is. It manages to mix a time forgotten with modern life (mind dont expect TV and a kettle in your room) Fabulously placed for the older part of Havana. Food was good and what a way to spend your evening sitting on the veranda, drinking Mojito, listening to Cuban bands and watching the world gone... More

Spent 3 beautiful days in old Havana and stayed at Hotel Inglaterra. It is a beautiful hotel, oldest in Havana, its achitecture is superb. Yes, the room I had was dark, but that did not ruin my vacation. The bed was really comfy, and air conditioning adequate. Only in the room to sleep and shower, anyways. Breakfast buffet ( included)... More

Do NOT stay at this hotel! It is a dump with terrible service, you will be utterly disappointed. I feel sorry to be so harsh, especially since this is not only a famous hotel with a great history but also the oldest hotel in Cuba, located in the best location of all of Habana Vieja. It is overlooking the Parque... More

Very nice hotel, located right in the centre of Havana. Rooms are dark and a bit worn out, but they are clean with working A/C. Roof top bar with the view over Havana is a perfect place to end a days walk in Havana. More

Spectacular exterior and all public areas. Terrace a great place to sit - it attracts some particularly good musicians. Breakfast excellent. Service variable but OK. But our room was awful. Being forewarned on TripAdvisor and from other sources, we did not expect too much but were shocked when taken to the cupboard-sized, dingy, barely lit corner of the hotel which... More
