We stayed 4 nights in this hotel in March 2012 & overall our experience was fine. I endorse the review of the chap from Bristol. We were in group of 14 & none of use had any real complaints. Rooms were clean & big, bathrooms were clean & functional . Plugs were sometimes round pinned & others flat pins. Check... More

Just returned from a stay at Hotel Sevilla. The lobby is all lined with beautiful tiles from Spain, and turn of the century decorations. The large lobby and patio bar are great places to relax and people watch. The Musical group plays in the patio bar and the music wafts throughout the lobby, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. Located next to... More

Really enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Sevilla. It's location is excellent for the old city, the centre and the sea-front - all within easy walking distance. Staff and service were excellent - friendly and helpful at all times. The lobby and lounge areas are full of old world charm - beautifully furnished, cool and often with gentle live music... More

I am not sure why people have wrote any negative comments about this hotel, my stay was excellent and I would recommend any one stay here. I was fortunate enough to stay there for 11 nights. All the staff was very helpful and always kind. The amenities were fine and I had no problem with anything. The pool bar was... More

Stayed twice as part of tour with Travelsphere. Rooms were poor and water took 15-20 minutes to get hot. Matress had long since past its use by date. View from room 108 probably the worst weve seen (see picture). Shortages of food, cutlery and crockery so allow plenty of time for breakfast. Nice pool but surroundings dirty and noise from... More

Had room on first floor. The room was dark and gloomy. The bed and pillow were 50 years past sell by date. Room was noisy. Breakfast was fair. Important to get there early as queues built up quickly. The omelette is recommended. The bread largely dry and stale. The location is excellent but be prepared to be accosted as soon... More

I just stayed in Hotel Sevilla on my Havana stay. I must say I felt like home and liked the atmosphere in the hotel. Especially the lobby was nice, also the breakfast on the top floor with beautiful look over Havana city. At least our room was nice, we were a bit disappointed though to have to separate beds. Otherwise... More

Our school's group arrived on Tuesday 12th May after a 24 hour journey from North Yorkshire, England. We stayed for two nights in Havana at the start of our 9 day Cuba tour before spending our last night in the Sevilla prior to our departure via San Jose Airport. The location of this hotel is its major selling point -... More

I stayed in Havana for 10 days in January 2012, and loved the location of the Hotel Seville - which is within walking distance to everywhere. The rooms are good but not great, but the hotel has live music every night, a good upstairs restaurant and a nice pool (although this is in a slightly surreal location downstairs, where you... More
