Went to this resort in April and am so satisfied with the choice of resort. The two-room apartment we had was big enough and very clean. All houses are sitauted in a beautiful garden. The swimming pool is large and the beautiful Jan Thiel Beach with several lunch and dining opportunities is just a few minutes walk from the resort.... More

We had a two bedroom/rwo bathroom Lagun villa, which was spaceous and light. Fylly equipped kitchen, so we had a family vacation here. Furniture ok, Lounge set on porch. Very large swimming pool, beach at 3 minutes walk, restaurants available on resort and on beach. ATM on beach.. There is a shuttle service to Vreugdenhil Supermarket, but a small minimarket... More

Rooms are clean and large. Only airco in the sleeping room. The service is pretty much ok, however, they managed to find the most unfriendly people of Curacao (not the locals) and put them behind the bar, you feel like trash if you are there. So if you are searching for a place to stay, only sleep, this would be... More

In October we stayed for the 3rd time in Livingstone. Over the years the resort went down significantly in quality. The appartment we stayed in (Antigua nr. 27) was in a bad shape. Everything was dirty; under the beds, the kitchen doors, kitchenware, the bathroom. The pillows of the patio furnture were extremely dirty with a lot of staines on... More

I stayed with my son in a beautiful Villa, We were a little scared because before we left we were reading a negative review concerning the security..When we arrived I asked the front desk about the security and she said:" smile you are on Video!!" Well done the property is fenced and the security is with night guard and Video... More

Rooms smelled of sewage. The resort was aware of problem with septic tank but they put off addressing the problem for three days and then treated it with chemicals that were almost as smelly, a vile chemical odor. We had to demand a move which they tried to push to the next day as their cleaning crew was leaving for... More

I. my husband, his older brother and wife shared a self-catering bungalow at the Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort in a beautifully landscaped and pristinely maintained compound on the southwest coast of the island. Focal point was a large outdoor swimming pool next to a covered bar and al fresco restaurant. There was also a small grocery store and laundromat on... More

Stayed here for 6 days June 3-9th, 2009. Great kiddie pool. Too hot midday - swim in the am and late afternoon and leave your kids in longsleeve shirts with SPF 50. Good & Great - Fresh bread (white and whole wheat baguettes) at the little store at the hotel every morning at 730am. - Babysitter Anna (spoke English, very... More

We spent our honeymoon at Livingstone in a two-bedroom villa. These are clearly the most spacious units in the resort and you feel like you have your own house within the community. The extra bedroom and bathroom were probably not necessary, but it was nice to have the extra space. One word of caution: only the bedrooms are air conditioned.... More

We spent our family vacation on the hotel and had a very bad experience. The second night we were stolen while we were sleeping. It was terrible, there was not some body to protect us, as the houses did not have any phone, my husband had to go running trying to get some of the two watching men at 3... More
