We stayed at Sea Cliff cottages for two wonderful weeks this February. Our cottage had a perfect view of Hodges Bay and we were able to sit on our balcony and enjoy breakfast while watching the sun come up over the ocean waves. We made our own breakfast in the well equipped kitchen and usually enjoyed the local fresh pineapple,... More

I took the chance, I booked this online after reading reviews, especially here on Trip Advisor. We stayed in Cabin 5 for 7 glorious sunrises and moonlit nights with tropical breezes blowing softly. The cottage was ready on time, clean, and the manager bent over backwards to make sure we were pleased. Very eco friendly. Very, very hard to leave!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed at the Sea Cliff Cottages in November and had a blast! We are very independent travelers who hike around the world. We wanted to combine relaxation with hiking in Dominica and staying at Sea Cliff worked out perfectly for us! We stayed in the one bedroom cottage and although not on the edge of the island the front... More

My husband and I spent the last week of January in the studio cottage. Every morning we were treated to incredible sunrises from our bed or veranda. The view is really special! We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. A steep but maintained trail takes you to Hodges Beach and river. The beach had only a few people and they were... More

Absolutely splendid views towards the sea and the rain forest - especially from the houses on the right side of the street. Very nice garden. Kitchen, bed, bathroom - everything was fine. Poorly lit bathroom. You really need a car when staying here. It is quite a long walk downtown to Calibishie and its restaurants and shops. Tourist office in... More

My husband and I visited Dominica this past fall. We spent a couple weeks traveling around the island. We ended our trip with our stay at Sea Cliff Cottages. Once we arrived we immediately wished we would have had more time to spend there. Our cottage was clean and comfortable. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming. Most of all,... More

We stayed for a little over a week (Dec. 19-28) in the studio cottage - perfect for two with a spectacular view of the coast and ocean. We enjoyed exploring the northern coastal area, hiking in Cabrits National Park, the Syndicate Nature Trail in Morne Diablotin N.P. (great), visiting Red Rocks, Pointe Baptiste, Woodfield Hills beach, the Northern Link road,... More

I stayed for approximately 2 weeks at the Sea Cliff Cottages and had a great time (Dec 4-Dec 17). Dominica is a wonderful place to visit and the plan is to return next year. Gwen and Jim were great and always helpful. Pascal always made sure we got to sample some great produce from his farm and was a great... More

I stayed in the studio cottage for 1 week. The view is amazing and changes throughout the day. Gweneyth was so helpful, and there whenever I needed her or had any questions. I walked into town many times, and even though it is uphill coming back..after a few times, I got used to it. Pascal & Wendy were also great... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Set on a hill overlooking the beach and islands below, Sea Cliff is a place for the more independent travelers. Each cottage is equipped with full kitchen, dining area, balcony and all you need for short or longer term stays. The view of the sea is wonderful and the fresh breeze keeps you cool at night. We try to be environmentally correct running on solar power, composting and keeping a low energy profile (though we do have wifi !)The grounds are planted with fruit trees and flowering tropical flowers and shrubs. In the right season you can enjoy mangoes, papaya, grapefruit, lime, oranges, guava, avocado, pineapple and of cours the coconuts !The flowers attract the hummingbirds and there are also the sea birds and hawks swooping above you. Nature is abundant ! The village is less than a mile and there you will find restaurants, grocery stores and different small shops. There are also a number of churches and a gas station. Hodges beach below us is about a five minute walk down the hill and the river also flows into the sea at this point. There are several other beaches, hiking, fresh river swimming all within walking distance. A good location for those who wish to become familiar with the people and the culture of the island. ... more   less
