“This is not a 4 star hotel”

I put in a bid on Priceline for a 4 star hotel or higher. In the past only the Hilton has been considered a 4 star hotel and I always got the Hilton. “Excellent but Pool Renovation”

I was pleased with the hotel. The hotel was clean; the staff was friendly and helpful; my room was comfortable. The pool was being renovated. That was a disappointment for a leisure traveler. Excellent hotel, with wonderful, well-kept rooms, well trained and qualified staff, plus friendly. The food is very good and varied. The hotel is near the old city and Independence Park, in the midtown. I recommend it and will go back again!

Nothing different or spectacular from other Crowne Plaza hotels. Hotel is seemingly under renovation so there are some minor glitches you have to sort out but it should be okay. “ok hotel good value”

if you want or need to stop in santo domingo you do not have many choices. we choose 3 nights in the now called crowne plaza. people could not be nicer. room ( upgrade with terrace with confortable but had not been renovated for a while) the pool is worth the stay. however the noise from the malecom is disturbing

“This Hotel was probably once a thrilling place”

Well located with Casine (only slot machines), good small pool area outside with sea-view. Small rooms and outdated bathroom. Hotel is changing name to Crown Plaza. Service is excellent and very friendly.
