Nice hotel, quite small but cute each room has different decoration. Staffs are super nice and helpful. Will definitely return. More

At first I thought it would look old inside, but it's really nice to spend a romantic weekend or to get to know "La Zona Colonial" a bit better. More

Enjoyed my stay at Hodelpa in Zona Colonial -- nice, clean hotel with excellent service. They have a nice terrace that sadly has no bar, which would have been great for night time drinks. My room was small but had a minibar and perfectly functional bathroom. Gave hotel 3 points for value as I see other people have gotten major... More

Bottom Line: If you are accustomed to more equiped, updated, and well-appointed lodging facilities, this is NOT the place for you. Positives: Hotel is in great location. Really friendly staff that is helpful. Television/Cable stations were plenty and some American stations available CBS, TNT, TBS - mostly local stations from Chicago and New York. Breakfast was not bad - if... More

I stay at Hodelpa for a few days everytime I go to santo Domingo. A great hotel at a fair price in the very heart of the Zona Colonial. More

I stayed at this hotel in September 2011 while touring the Colonial City. It was contemporary, and clean with an elevator. There is a parking lot which you can valet if you'd like. One of the staff even washed my car! I thought there was a pool, but there isn't. If you want to be near the ocean, you'll have... More

Stayed at this property for 1 night. At arrival, they welcomed us with a glass of cider, which was a very nice touch. Hotel is in a very touristy area, with easy walking to other attractions, like the Hard Rock Cafe, Segafredo, Museums, Plazoleta Espana, Parque Colon, Calle Las Damas, El Conde and El Alcazar. Reserved 2 rooms and got... More

first of all I have to say that the staff was very friendly and surely had the best intentions but there are things you just can not forgive. small superior (haha!) hotel rooms with cheap decoration and outdated furniture at 129 us is ridiculous .i only paid 65 plus tax thru aa com but it is not even worth 29.99.... During a business trip in March 2011, I stayed in this "Boutique hotel" for one night. The hotel is located in the colonial part of Santo Domingo. As I arrived at about midnight and left the next day, I had no chance to dive into the culture of the colonial area. Despite my late check-in, the receptionists were helpful; checkin... More
