This was our first destination wedding experience. It was a good experience. The wedding itself was wonderful on the beach. We were all happy that the reception was held indoors. As you've read: fabulous pools, beaches, rooms, property. Very difficult dealing with front desk several times. Difficult to change 20-dollar bills for tips. Strange toilets, supplies in restrooms not always kept up. Lobby internet pretty much never worked. Enjoyed our stay at the Majestic Elegance. Fantastic large room, great housekeeping staff, grounds were exceptionally clean, and there were so many choices to dine. Roberto was the best bartender. Check him out at the lobby bar!

I have mixed feelings on this hotel. The beach was beautiful. The rooms were ok, but had terrible pillows and I had a huge hole in my sheet, that was not changed for my entire stay. We loved our room the Junior Suite, the shower was amazing!! Private beach for the elegance club was most relaxing. The service was GREAT everywhere!!
