The Excellence is Excellente! The room, pool and beach were great. The water was a little rough on the beach, but it was just right for play and surfing. A surfer’s dream actually. Excellence was one of the better all-inclusives we have visited. Service is terrific, food quality and variety is good and beach fantastic. We were upgraded to "club" level when we checked in. Ride to hotel was long after two airplane rides (guy on bus said 1.5 hours). Bed was awful ( I'm young and back and hips hurt every morning). Pools closed at 6pm.
