I had to escape Punta Cana Hostel and came here...the diference is big. the staff is very nice, specially Martina from Slovakia. Location is perfect next to the beach, supermarkets and a french bakery. Only complains were: the shower gave electric schocks and breakfast was poor, only toast, coffee,powder creamer, butter and jelly....no milk.

Bavaro Hostel is not only clean and well equipped with all the usual hostel facilities, it is run by the most amazing staff who will become friends for life! It is really close to everything you need, bars, shops and the beach is a couple of minutes walk away. Do not hesitate to stay here!

You won't find a better place to stay and have a great time if you're on a budget. I only stayed for a night, but it was one of the experiences I had when I visited the Dominican Republic. Lots of friendly, cool people to talk with. And the beach...It's so close! I would definitely stay there again.

You will not find a better hostel anywhere. Did not stay here, just inspected. I have seen hostels in many places, but this one is by far the nicest I have ever seen. Great hostel. The only way to stay cheaply in the area. Lots of people in the hostel seemed more into parties than seeing real dominican life though. I stayed there for holy week and great hostel with good prices very clean, the owners make you feel welcome, and you can chat with them cause they are all the time taking care of the customers. The beach is to close, less than 5 min walking. Great experience I had!
