Stayed at the Palms for a few nights last week and was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious room (e 30). Loved the simplicity and cleanliness of the room. Beach and bar is really nice. Miami feel seating around pool.Very colorful bar area. Will gladly stay here again. More

I was looking for a low-budget option on the beach strip in Negril and at first was skeptical about what to expect from this hotel. I must say that I was impressed with the property. Our room was well kept and had a nice cabana style decor with doors that opened right up to the garden, only a few short... More

Me & my fiancé enjoyed our stay here. Overall the hotel was clean, with friendly staff. The hotel is on the beach so it's a great location for the view. Only problem, Negril is too far away from the airport. We came to Jamaica on a Thurs, around the time school was getting out & it took us almost 2... More

After staying at the RIU in Montego Bay, this little hotel was a nice change. We arrived and checked in easily...the rooms are clean with white walls and white bedding. I loved the wooden doors and windows, also the bathroom floor (including the shower floor) were wooden. Try to get a room on the 2nd floor because the ceiling is... More

This hotel was just as I expected from reading previous trip advisor reports. It is not a boutique resort as the pictures on various websites show and you do get the feeling when staying there that there is no management to oversee the running of the place. It is rough around the edges but has so much potential to be... More

We were at The Palms the same time as John A. I must agree with him. The closeness to the beach and to other cultural venues made The Palms the ideal location. I agree with John also about the staff. Very helpful getting transportation with Easton aka, Chicken, who also provided me with a cell phone for $20 USD for... More

DO NOT STAY HERE. This "resort" is absolutely the worst maintained facility I've ever stayed at. Now usually, I read reviews and hear people complain about things such as noise, my bed wasn't fluffy enough or trivial things of that nature. That is NOT the case here. This place is nothing short of disgusting. I had to marvel at the... More

If you are aesthetically taxed by bathroom fixtures that aren't pristine, or by applieances and finishes that have clearly seen better days, then I suggest you check into a Fairfield Inn by the Airport in Cincinnati. But, if you want to stay fewer than fifty (or so) steps from Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica, then The Palms is an... More

We checked in and left the same day. The place was dirty and infested with ants. Our room had one little lamp that only lit half the room. As I place my toilettries in the bathroom, my brush/lotion were covered in ants in minutes. We asked to be moved into a different room, the manager could not understand why we... More
