I just returned from a week at the Reef Resort (April 15-22, 2012). During the entire stay I did not have a hot shower once until the last day which was Sunday morning. All the other days the water was lukewarm at best. Last time we stayed at the resort was 2008 in the new section and did not have... More

My wife and I stayed at The Reef Resort from April 14-21, 2012 and were very disappointed. The room we stayed in was not very clean and there were cheerios and crumbs in the sofa. There was a large "palmetto bug" in our room and the shower door was broken. There were some redeeming features such as the magnificent view... More

Thanks for taking time to leave feedback here, it is appreciated! Now regards the cherrios, I would implore all guests to report such instances to our Front Desk who will have a member of our housekeeping team resolve that situation immediately. Every room is deep cleaned prior to all new arrivals so it’s disappointing to hear comments such as these.... More

We just return from a stay at The Reef Resort April 9th-14th, 2012. First of all, the entire staff was wonderful. However, the resort is very average. We (myself, husband & 8 year old daughter) stayed in a 2BR 2 BA unit. The unit was large in size, but small on furnishings. The TV's were tiny! My husband had hope... More

Thanks for taking the time to review our resort, and allowing us an opportunity to clarify a few things of potential concern to future guests. We are about half way through upgrading all of our TV sets throughout the resort to larger flat screen models, so should your room not have the latest version and TV is important to you... More

I'm writing this a year later.....my hubby and I had an excellent time at The Reef Resort celebrating our anniversary. The food was awesome. This is the only all inclusive place where we've stayed where every meal is ordered off of a menu and made to order. It was a very nice change to have hot individual dishes prepared for... More

My wife and I were at the The Reef from 16-21 April 2012. The staff was always extremely helpful and went out of their way to be accomodating. Cathy Richardson was great in setting up any trips that were requested and accompanied us on the String Ray City trip. Jake Morgan the head concierge always met you in the lobby... More

We stayed here for a week over spring break. The one bedroom was clean and offered awesome views. However, the balcony was shared with the neighbors and the internet only worked here and there. This was a huge problem as school work needed to be done online and an interview needed to be done via Skype. The worst part of... More

Just got back from the reef resort over Easter week. RESORT: The one bedroom was very clean, and well stocked with supplies. We bought breakfast and lunch food at Foster's across the street and It has all the basics you would need. Prices weren't too bad considering how expensive it is to eat out!!! We had a 1st floor room... More

Family friendly resort on the LESS crowded side of Grand Cayman. Fun pools for the kids to play in, and soft clean white sand beaches. Good exercise room is a plus. Not the best snorkeling in front of the resort, because the wave action tends to cloud up the water. To do best snorkeling walk down about 100 yards past... More

We stayed in the Reef this past April. We stayed in room 204 a/b units. This is a lovely resort located in a very quiet location, on the East End of the Island. The staff is great. The units are very well appointed, Nice tv(s) and DVD players in the room and great beds. The resort is right on the... More

Just recently came back from a five night, six day stay at The Reef resort on the East End of Grand Cayman with my fiancee. We stayed in a deluxe ocean-front studio, which was equipped with a small kitchenette, small patio, king sized bed, most importantly a beautiful view of the ocean which was just steps away from our patio....
