Excellent restaurant & bar - good food - reasonable prices compared to Georgetown. Rooms are basic, clean, but old! Excellent diving & dive masters. We plan to go back next year. More

As others have said, this is a place for divers - not fancy, but great for diving gear and wet people. Our room was ocean view, but the palm trees obscured the view. Apparently it was bigger than the older rooms on the property nearer the dive shop and bar. We had 2 queen beds and lots of space in... More

I've stayed here many times and it's my hotel of choice when diving on Cayman. The last couple of trips, though, I feel like it's slipping a little. The dive folks seem the same, but the bar, and in particular the hotel front office, seem to have gone downhill. The night clerk in the hotel this time was rude and... More

Sunset House is a dive resort for scuba divers. If you are not a diver, then there are plenty of exceptional properties on 7 Mile Beach. However, divers will find everything they need to have a great vacation. Rooms: The rooms are set up for divers. All tile with patios to dry dive gear. We stayed in one of the... More

This was my 3rd visit to SH over the past 6 years. They are consistent with a great dive staff. rooms are clean and comfortable. MY BAR is the hot spot at the end of the day to watch the sunset. Food has been improving with a lot of great indian food choices. Prices are comperable for Cayman. Divers keep... More

Dear RicoDiver, I want to thank you for taking time to write the review and I appreciate the comments. One thing that we obviously forgot to mention to you is that we have ordered 300 new 80cf tanks that should be on island by the end of April and in service shortly after that. So the next time you're down... More

I carried over a week of vacation from work and had to use it before March 31st. I am an avid Scuba diver and had not been in warm water for two years, so the timing and the need for some aqua therapy matched. After talking to the dive community in Calgary, I was encouraged to chech-out Sunset House as... More

This is probably the best dive hotel we've been to. The rooms are adequate, but the dive shop and reef off shore are fantastic. We loved that we could start diving within minutes after arriving. The staff are professional and give you very good dive briefings. Then they ask who wants a guided dive with the divemaster, or who wants... More

For divers, this is a great place to stay. Our group had a package for 6 days of 2 tank boat dives. This also included an ample breakfast each morning of our stay. The ocean view rooms were partly obstructed by palm trees, but provided nice shade in the afternoon. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable. A good ceiling fan and... More

We spent five nights here. The rooms were clean, but sparse. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo/conditioner...made a huge difference after a day in the salt water. Lots of towels, we never ran out or needed more. Plenty of closet and dresser space for all our clothes & diving gear. We were lucky and had... More
