My wife and I stayed at The Royal West Indies Resort in July of 2011 for our honeymoon. There were some things we loved about the resort and things we did not. I will address both in this review. I use tripavisor.com quite a bit. The first thing I do when I am looking at a hotel or restaurant is... More

RWI experience was terrific! We stayed in the building closest to the beach, facing the ocean with a small garden before the dunes on the beach. Lush landscaped grounds, pleasant, professional and helpful staff. We had a 1BR with pull-out sleep sofa, with the patio, excellent! Clean, cold fridge, Blu-Ray (small movie selection at the front desk), internet, privacy. Parking... More

First off, a big thanks to everyone who has posted on this forum--I couldn't have planned my trip without your advice! THE GOOD: The resort is beautiful, the restaurant is way underrated (the jerk chicken was a highlight of our trip), the resort staff were very accommodating and service outstanding! They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us... More

I'm planning my third trip to Provo, once you've been here, it's hard to ever think of visiting someplace else. We have stayed at Royal West Indies everytime. First, If your looking for excitement and night life, with lots of adventurous thing to do Provo IS NOT for you. This is a hidden paradise away from tourists, crowds, over crowded... More

Although some buildings are further from the beach and have only a garden view, the short walk is worth every step. No need to rush down and "claim" a chair. The beach shack staff are always there helping you get a beach chair and umbrella and will move any of the exisiting ones anywhere on the beach. Beach towels were... More

I liked Royal West Indies a lot. Provo is not a cheap place in general, and I tried researching the lodging extensively and I really thought Royal West Indies is a tremendous value and bargain for staying in Provo. The property is nice and sort of has the same feel as a lot of the other properties along the beach... More

We just returned from our 2nd visit to Royal West Indies Resort and just had to share our comments! The first time you visit a location it is easier to be impressed because everything you are experiencing is new and exciting. When you return there is a "bar" that has been established and needs to be met - or better... More

This is a delightful property and this was our second visit. The property is beautifully maintained and extremely clean. The front desk staff is friendly and very courteous. The pool and beach staff could not have been more attentive to our needs. Do to a physical problem I am unable to use the lounges at the pool or beach. The... More

We visited Royal West Indies Resort in Februay of 2011. It is a fabulous resort on Grace Bay. We go on vacation with two other couples every year, and this, by far, has had to be one of the nicest places we have stayed at. Grace bay is an absolutely wonderful spot. The resort is small, with studio style apartments... More

Third time to this resort on Grace Bay. This is not a mega resort-small and beautifully maintained. First and foremost-the beach. Nicest we have ever been to and we have traveled extensively in the carribean and Hawai-the whiteist sand and bluest water anywhere. The rooms are very well maintained-and clean. The grounds are beautiful--restaurant and bar do a very nice... More
