The Galleon House is a wonderful place to stop over for the night en route to another destination. It is walking distance to the ferry and Charlotte Amalie and the shopping district. You can catch a $1 safari (bus) and go anywhere. The service was kind the breakfast delicious. You can not go wrong for the price.

I have stayed at this place to years in a row. They are very very nice, always giving you advise or just a big smile. The price can not be beat on the island, and it is a great location. Rooms could be slightly cleaner but there still pretty good. Will definitely stay here again and again!

Just got back from 2 weeks in the USVI and spent 3 nights at the Galleon House. Great place to stay and we would definitely go back. A group of us stayed one perfect night at the Galleon. It was a wonderful way to begin our vacation. The staff was very accomadating and the food was perfectly cooked and delicious. The pool is refreshing and it is in walking distance to the ferry docks and center of town.

We stayed here in April 2013 in a room that shared a bath with one other room. Ours was located on the same floor as the open air lobby, 51 stairs above the street entrance (not a big deal to us!)
