I've stayed at Villa Santana twice and love it. It has a sweeping view overlooking Charlotte Amalie city, the beautiful harbor, Hassle & Water Islands. I stayed in La Torre which is best for singles. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our lovely efficiency overlooking the beautiful harbor. Villa Santana is in a great location just a short walk to good food and shopping. The owners were especially helpful and friendly. We will surely return.

For a romatic getway, and a real home away from home, this is hard to beat. It's a a completely charming place with just seven separate "cottages" (so make your reservations EARLY!) cleverly created from the remaining outbuildings after the 19th century villa burned some years ago.
