Stayed here in 2007 (had to put 2011 as no option for the old days) and admittedly looks a little better now if the photos are anything to go by but that dam crazy bird seems to still be there, rooms look to have had some furniture added and nicer curtains. Booked in via the internet while at sea in... More

The place is OK. It is not very clean. It is located in downtown Nassau and it makes it easy to go places... you can also go to Junkanoo Beach just a few blocks away... Nassau has a lot more attractions to be seen than any other Island in the Bahamas, but it has the least natural environment just because... More

Great location, steps away from the straw market, shops, and port. A short 10 minute walk to Junkanoo Beach and the Fish Fry (Arawak Cay). Transportation is easily accessible with the Jitneys or small buses that make stops throughout downtown to Cable Beach for $1.25. The hotel has a great local vibe, with a bed and breakfast feel. Staff was... More

The Towne Hotel is perfect for travelers on a budget and it's within walking distance of everything. Important: Be sure to confirm your total room rate by calling the hotel directly. There is a daily resort fee that must be paid upon check-in, and it can be an unpleasant surprise if you aren't prepared for it. Tip: Skip the hotel-arranged... More

I stayed here May 18th for one night before my boyfriend and I went to Eleuthera on the fast ferry which is a $12 taxi ride away. It was good for the price and they have 2 computers there so you can get on Facebook but the comupters are out dated but still it's a low price. We paid $85... More

It wasn't great either, but for the price ($100/night which is cheap for Nassau) and only needing to stay one night, it was OK. The hotel is in an old building. The rooms were clean. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but not bad. The A/C worked very well in the room, but didn't seem to work... More

During a recent stay to Nassau, we stayed at Town Hote for two nightsl. 1. The bathtub was gross, and the water would not drain properly. 2. I asked for additional towels and did not receive them. 3. Upon checkin we were told - Free Coontinental Breakfast. Whoop t do! The breakfast food was bland and boring. Bread to toast,... More

We stayed there with 2 friends for 6 days. With a low budget (considering the fact that Bahamian hotels are highly overpriced), we choose Towne because of tolerable rates. As we're not scared of longer walks, we loved the location (took around 20 minutes walk to Paradise Isle). Hotel itself is very cozy and reminded of a student home. Even... More

The hotel is very old and dirty. The rooms have insects and they are very noisy. Very disappointing. More
