We stayed here in March for 2 days with our dog whilst visiting friends in Cardiff. We were made to feel most welcome by our hosts Brian and Debra. We stayed in the loft section of the property and had tv and tea / coffee facilities, and plenty of space. Breakfast was cooked by Brian and was excellent, as was... More

Our family loved this charming B&B. Tucked away in the hills above Caerleon, only a short distance from the M4, it felt as if we were miles from anywhere. Our interconnecting rooms in the eaves of this converted barn were perfect and my family of 5 (3 teenage children) slept more than comfortably. We also booked self contained flatlets -... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in late July 2012, we stayed upstairs which was perfect for two adults and two children. We used this as our base for day trips around the area, coming back each night to comfy beds and hot showers and the lovely peace and quiet was terriffic. The huge home cooked breakfast every morning and... More

We stayed in the nook, it was perfect for us as we have a young baby. We were able to come and go as we pleased. The facilities were good, comfortable beds and sofa and a nice powerful shower. It was just like staying in a holiday cottage, but we had breakfast made for us. The breakfast was superb, cooked... More

Just come back from an excellent stay at the Granary. Hospitality second to none. We stayed in the snug which was lovely. Felt very welcome from the very beginning nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast in their farmhouse kitchen was wonderful, I got a full size pot of tea which was nice and the full breakfast was exceptional. Such a... More

Stayed here for one night stop off on the way to Brecon-fantastic value. Comfortable, clean self catering accommodation with beautiful views- really quite but 5 mins to the M4. Delicious and good quality breakfast cooked by very friendly owner. Will definitely come back again if in the area again. Highly recommended.

We booked into The Granary for my son's graduation at the nearby university. The host was friendly even from the point of phoning up to make enquiries about vacancies. We didn't arrive until 10.30 at night, and were given a great welcome, with tea and coffee offered. The rooms are basic but clean and versatile with tea making facilities and... More

Right from the booking through to arriving back home our short break was made special. The setting is beautiful and the facilities spot on, combined with a wonderful welsh welcome we were made to feel very at home. The accomodation was very versatile, especially for two shy teenagers who didn't want to be stuck in a seperate hotel room. We... More
