We have just had 3 glorious days at this lovely hotel, lovely clean room with toiletries and snacks you wouldn't expect a small hotel to provide. The room was warm, comfortable and large with loads of hot water for a good shower. The food was fantastic such as the scrambled egg with salmon for breakfast, evening meals were delicious as... A superb location and a very friendly hotel. The choice of food was superb - even in March. Julie and Kevin were helpful in picking me up from the plane and the room had great views across the bay to Mull.

My husband and I popped over from Oban for a two day break. We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was a delight to enjoy ' west coast hospitality ' at its best. Our bedroom was lovely, with super views. Breakfast was a delight each morning , and our evening meals went down rather well too. We look forward... More

My husband and I just spent two days in this hotel and had a lovely relaxing time. On arrival to the island we were picked up by Kevin, the hotel owner, who drove us to the hotel and showed us to our room which had a gorgeous sea view. The room was clean, cosy and had a lovely wee goody... More

This hotel is a fabulous wee gem on the peaceful island of Coll. The rooms may be quite basic but it's clean and homely and the views, service and hospitality should not be missed. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Especially if you enjoy freshly caught seafood. Have a seafood platter or the lobster and homemade angel hair pasta.... More

Just back from a night away at this wonderful hotel. My husband was working on the island and as I had never been before I tagged along. I was so glad I did. Nothing is too much trouble for Julie and Kevin and the staff. The food is exquisite - our evening meal was absolutely delicious. The hotel motto is... More

We went here for afternoon tea on a wet and windy day, then came back for the best meal of the holiday. Food and service were superb, the peat fire was a welcome respite from the "summer", and food was fresh, local, and delicious. Highly recommended.

My wife having retired from teaching and so no longer restricted to school holidays we finally succeeded getting into this hotel after many years of trying. The wait was worth it. Everything about the place met or exceeded our expectations. Though recognising that I can be prone to exaggeration, I still believe that the plate of scallops I had was... More

What is the expectation when this is the only hotel? We arrived with none and left the island with a buzz that only means we shall return. Hospitality starts at the Ferry wharf and doesnt stop until you return at the end of your visit. Just a few residents are a little withdrawn but everyone knows who they are and... More
