Nice and convinient for our travel needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the food we did have was very good, however, there was no breakfast option as advertise and the menu was quite limited. The hotel itself is very 'tired' and to be honest could do with a decent deep clean and decorate. The bathroom in room 7 definitely needs re-doing and the curtains everywhere were hanging on by far too few curtain rings making the place look very scruffy but the spiders in the hall seemed to have made their home in the folds along with the dust! There was good off street parking available and the rooms was nice and quiet. It would not take much to really bring this up to scratch and make it a really nice little place to stay but it is not there at the moment. Sorry but I would not stay again.…

Had lunch here with friends. Broccoli only fit for the compost heap, watery carrots, salmon, dry, like cardboard! Will not return. We were the only diners. I did wonder why. The restaurant was very cold. Waiting staff need to tie their hair back.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Good parking and location - just off A10 near Ely. Rooms decor and furniture need updating but ok for a nights stopover. The rooms were clean but as mentioned, showing age. Menu basic pub menu - chicken curry was very tasty. Breakfast excellent for this type of pub accommodation. We would stay again

We have stayed here for the past few years around the same time of year. On arrival the manager was remembered us which was very nice and she shows us to our room turned the heating up and left . A lovely welcome. We booked an evening meal and expected to dine in the dining hall but a place was set for us in the pub. I ordered ham eggs chips. When it came it was two slices of constituted plastic ham with two eggs on the top NOT GOOD!!! The chips were fry’s, white and only half cooked . . We asked about breakfast was told 7.30 am!!!! We ask if we could possibly have breakfast a little later? We were given 7.45 am. When given a full breakfast it was obviously a have to do thing the way it was thrown on the plate. also beans were dried up. We were given one small cup of Luke warm coffee each even tho I had asked for tea. And had to go to our room to bring down a cold drink. We really didn’t feel welcome at all. We won’t be staying again. And to top it all the price has gone up by £20 a night, which is fine but to be treat like we were. and pay more for it is terrible.…

I stayed here for one night. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The bed was comfortable but the room was absolutely filthy. The shower was dirty and clearly needs updating. I dropped something on the floor in the bathroom and when cleaning it the floor was filthy with lots of hair on it. All the picture frames were very dusty. In this era of Covid I think the room should be cleaned between customers

Arrived mid afternoon and checked in at the bar. Friendly staff behind the bar and the owner showed us how to get to the room. Room was spacious and bed comfy. I thought I had drunk too much, but the floor has a disturbing slope in the middle, (no option to upload pictures). The tea cups could do with being mugs really as they are so small. The shower screen didn't cover the bath properly, the bath has handles, so no room. This meant the floor became wet due to escaping water and the slope took it all to the bedroom area. The pub is locked at night with no overnight staff, so in the morning you leave via the fire escape and leave your key in the door.

Filthy dirty shower including hairs , sludge and mould . Filthy dusty room . Tv remote control obviously had never been cleaned . Curtains literally hanging off and barely staying up or covering the window . Single bed not appreciated for a single traveller and at a charge of £80. Breakfast was stone cold except for the greasy fried egg. Partial refund was given as an apology.

Great atmosphere and very friendly Staff. We booked in for one night and were greeted by a very enthusiastic Jack who showed to our room. As expected the room was warm and very comfortable. Other than being in need of a bit of upgrading and the TV remote not compatible with the TV so had to use the buttons on the TV. The evening meal was exceptionally good and great value the bar was friendly with Joan and John excellent hosts. Would we stay again if in the area "Yes"
