Our first visit to The Crown and Castle, and what a friendly welcomefrom Rith Watson (on reception)and all the staff. We had a lovely room overlooking the river and Ness with a stunning bathroom. The evening meal and breakfast were both first class. What more can you ask for?

We came here for the May bank holiday and were delighted with our stay. The staff were patient, friendly and extremely helpful. We stayed in one of the garden rooms and were impressed by the attention to detail. We ate there too, the food was excellent. I especially liked the breakfasts. Thank you Sue, Tim, and David.

We had lunch here on bank-holiday Saturday. The food was excellent and the menu gave lots of interesting choice – this is a very superior pub lunch! The beer is great and the wine list seemed very appealing. The staff were friendly and efficient; the hotel is a very comfortable, interesting and attractive place to spend a lunch time. Wonderful!

Awesome food .. high quality awesome food .. but wait fro it, unlike stuffy posh restuarants where you feel the need to order a pizza afterwards becuase you are hungry, not with the Crown and Castle.
