This hotel looked pretty good from the outside, and the room inside was very nice, clean, comfortable and safe. Our room (standard double bed) had a small balcony, large bathroom and vanity, and the rest of the room was comfortable. at checkin and checkout, the two clerk/staff we talked to barely spoke any english, but I cant take that away... We returned yesterday from a 3-night stay over the July 4th, 2004 weekend at what used to be one of the nicest hotels in San Felipe. What a depressing experience, since we have been going down there for over 22 years. The hotel has fallen into such a horrible state that it literally made us more and more depressed each... More

What restaurant? Oh there is a restaurant & bar but it's always closed. there seems to be only one waiter working around the pool. On our first night there this guy went out of his way to please us but that's only because we tipped him over 60%. On our second day, he took our order without giving us a... More

Las Misiones Hotel is an adequate, no-frills place to stay a short distance from the Malecon area. The rooms are clean but the bed was too stiff for my liking. The water pressure is a joke & our tub was disabled so that we could only take showers. The hotel is on the "beach" but you'll be quite disappointed when... More

It was great to stay at Las Misiones, 5 of us stayed in December for two weeks, we had nothing but good service, very warm people serving, there were a few things missing like telephone, and more channels , even when the Hotel is very old is very clean,we are planning to come back more often with all our family,... This hotel was the best in the 80's. It is really bad now. I strongly suggest that you find another hotel. The rooms smell and are very dirty and the service sucks. The hotel is far from the party life and at night the drve can be dangerous, the road curves alot and it is very dark. This is the... More

Very bad service. Only clients can enter the hotel. So if a friend is visiting you he can not enter the place. !Very disgusting!. Attention and service is poor. Rooms could be better (for the price). Old facilities. The best are the pools. !I will never come back to this place! More

The place looks pretty old. Long corridors and dark rooms reminded me a shelter - very plain, no coziness. Sometimes warm water, sometimes no water at all. Children's pool is very dirty, but big one for adults - pretty clean. You can go to a beach either in the morning or late afternoon - during the day water reaches the... More

Decent rooms, moderately priced, nice beach in front of the hotel, and my favorite thing there is the pool with a huge bar in it where you can sit and have a drink. I've stayed there twice and plan to go back this year. More
