“Cheap, but little else to recommend it”

Hotel del Centro is fairly cheap at 450 pesos for a single room. Beyond that, however, there is little reason to stay. The room was very small, threadbare, and poorly lighted--all things I could have dealt with. I lost patience, however, with the noise coming through paper-thin walls and a window that looked out to the next window just inches... More
