WOW!! WOW!!! This is the place! My wife and I stayed there in March 2012! Awesome! The hosts Rick and Brooke are amazing! They are so helpful, friendly and attentive. Love them to death! The second night we where there, we decided that rather than going out to dinner to a restaurant, we would stay in at the B&B. They... More

Me and my brother stayed at Agua Azul last December and had a fabulous time. The hosts prepared a delicious breakfast (homemade banana muffins, fresh fruits), they gave us tons of great recommendations for the best restaurants and the best beaches. Luckily we had a car, which made the ride to town easy. The rooms are very lovely, the bathroom... More

Thank you to Rick and Brooke for a wonderfully relaxing stay in their lovely hideaway. As mentioned in previous reviews, highlights included lively conversations, the playful antics of their dog Tango, beautiful views and gardens, and a well stocked library. Breakfasts of fresh fruit, home-baked goods and yogourt with granola were very good but somewhat light and monotonous. Unfortunately during... More

We enjoyed our stay at Aqua Azul very much. The room was comfortable with a beautiful ocean view, the garden lovely, breakfast pleasant. Everything was clean and well kept. Brooke and Rick are kind and helpful and welcomed us as though we were old friends. Through conversations with them and other guests, we learned much about life in Mexico and... More

We stayed at Agua Azul for 5 nights, traveled to Puert Escondito & decided to return to Agua Azul for our last few nights in Mexico. A beautiful location, very quiet & clean. The hosts were very helpful about telling us what to see in the area. Very pleasant light breakfasts. We loved the pool. Our only regret was that... More

Brooke and Rick have truly built a warm, inviting home that allowed my wife and I to let go and relax. Their home, while a bit off the beaten path, has a tremendous view, well-kept gardens, comfortable rooms, very clean bathrooms, light but healthy breakfasts, and an inclusive atmosphere. The highlights for us were sipping wine on our private balcony... More

Our stay with Brooke and Rick at Agua Azul was wonderful and peaceful. They are very accommodating and gracious hosts. Fresh fruit and fresh baked goods were yummy and healthy by our standards. We had great conversations with them and other guests which led to enlightening information about the area and Mexican life. Everything was upscale and it showed that... More

My husband and I recently stayed at Agua Azul for 2 nights while visiting Huatulco. We have nothing but positive comments to make about our short, but enjoyable visit. Brooke and Rick were friendly and hospitable. Their home was relaxing and upscale with clean, private rooms, lovely gardens and views to the ocean. We especially enjoyed watching the sun rise... Huatulco was a quick stop for us on our way to Puerto Escondido from Mexico City. We truly enjoyed our 2 days at Agua Azul la Villa and the company of Rick, Brooke and Tango. Brooke kindly took us with her to a couple of beaches to give Tango a swim. The beaches were pristine, water was clean and refreshing... More

All of the "very good" and "excellent" reviews had to be written by the owners themselves. In our month long vacation around Mexico, we stayed in lovely B&Bs in Mexico City and Guanajuato and Oaxaca. Rick and Brooke's place was one of about 5 during our visit. I read about how the hosts opt to sit with guests during breakfast,... More

I am truly sorry that “Motoazabu” did not enjoy their stay with us. Our guests come from a variety of backgrounds with a wide range of opinions, experience and expectations. We try to make everyone feel comfortable in our home and the feedback we have had over the past twelve years indicates that most enjoy both the breakfast we serve... More
