My buddy and I stayed here on our way out of Mexico City on the way to Taxco. Place is totally chill. Casa del Artista stands in perfect contrast to the craziness of Mexico City. It was great just to sit out on the balcony drinking beers and smoking cigars in the cool quiet night. Rosalita was great. She negotiated... More

James and I had the most woenerful stay at the Villa del Artista. Rosalia is the perfect playmate. She showed us all around Cuernavaca and included us in her family celebrations. The hospitality that she extends to her guest is above and beyond what is expected. Toni, Rosalia's assistant is an additional asset. Always there when you need her. Drink,... More

This was a nice B&B to stay, what I liked the most was its privacy, nice pool and well kept backyard where you can take a brake and read a book. The area is surrounded of huge trees which provides some nice shade and makes the place cool. The place is within walking distance from Carlos&Charlies (for a nice family... More

For us, Cuernavaca is the Casa del Artista: the beautiful house and garden, and the warmth and intelligence of Rosalia and her assistant, Toni. Apart from the basics, i.e., the house and grounds are kept impeccably, the truly memorable aspect of our stay there are the experiences we had that tourists rarely have: the spontaneous invitation to have dinner with... This is a beautiful property and the staff and owner were very nice and helpful. Included breakfast was good. The owner was kind enough to let me use her internet connection for email. I decided to stay in this b&b because of the pool but found that it was covered with bugs and very cold because it was not heated.... More

I've been here a few times already and this is the place to stay in Cuernavaca. It's quiet, spacious and located near the center of town, along with having a staff is friendly and helpful. I'd recomend Casa del Artista to anyone visitng that part of Mexico.

I had a chance get away and spend a week in Cuernavaca at Casa del Artista. I am an artist myself so I suspected it would be a great place to hang. I was right! The hosts gave me all the information I needed to negotiate the airport and get a bus to Cuernavaca (only about 10 bucks, nice bus... More

On our way from Mexico City to Acapulco, my family and I stopped in Cuernavaca to recharge from a long day of traveling. We had found Casa Del Artista on the web and reserved an overnight stay. Upon our arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the home. We walked spellbound through each and every room, in... More

We stayed in the very comfortable bungalow of Casa del Artista for 4 nights in February 2005 and it was the most relaxing and enjoyable part of our two weeks in Mexico. Rosalia and Cecil and their daughter Neesa were excellent hosts and always had time for conversation or to answer our questions about what to see or do in... More
