Moises, the owner was awesome, the hostel was super clean, and the value can't be beat. Also, the neighborhood is fun and safe. Also, Moises will give you a tequila sampling when you check in!!! Furthermore, there will hopefully be a rooftop bar open soon.

If you are looking for a calm, clean, attractive hostel, this one is fantastic. There are some social activities organized.. we were there in low season but perhaps there could be more done to create a social atmosphere potential (the bar upstairs was closed..).. IN ANY CASE, ALL IN ALL A VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE.

Staff members are so friendly, accommodating and very helpful.They provide us a variety of information we can not get from guidebooks like good bars and restaurants popular to locals, best street to catch taxi, enjoyable way to go to the downtown... For me..... one of the best hostels in Guadalajara, stayed for the second time at Hostel Galeria. It's close to bars, clubs and restaurants, everything you need. Owner of hostel is super cool and friendly.

Stayed here for 3 nights in one of the private rooms - it was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and added bonus of having cable TV.
