Hotels around the main plaza in Guanajuato are expensive, but Hotel Embajadoras is about 3/4 of mile away, on Parque Embajadoras, and is very adequate. This hotel has seen better days. The first room we were shown was unclean, complete with a scorpion on one of the drapes, probably due to broken screens on the windows. The next room was passable but just barely and only since it was 10 at night and we were exhausted after 12 hours of travel. More
