You experience lovely flowering plants, with plenty of chairs and benches to invite you to sit awhile and relax. Opening the grand black door with the interesting detail of another time surrounding it, your eyes are immediately drawn to the lovely and chic decor of the sitting room. The walks are filled with interesting artwork as are the rooms. The... More

We stayed at Casa Comtesse during our week long vacation in Mexico City. I was a little wary of the location prior to arrival but the concern turned out unwarranted. The house is located at the southern portion of the Condesa neighborhood, 3 blocks away from the Chilpancingo station, this made traveling around the city very convenient. The service was wonderful... We arrived in January by car and were immensely relieved and grateful that they allowed us to stay with our dog. We travelled by car from Oregon, but have a house on the Pacific coast, so we take our dog with us and it can be very difficult to convince hotel owners in Mexico to allow pets, no matter how... I stayed here with several colleagues over a two and a half week period. Between us we tried out most of the rooms. They are all different, individually decorated with unique etchings and work of art. There are only eight guest rooms so the hotel has a really homely feel. The large communal area is bright and spectacular and the... More

A short taxi ride from the airport got us to Casa Comtesse where we were met by the receptionist, Angelica. She spoke fluent english, showed us around the lovely house, answered our many questions, and helped us settle in. Our room, Oriente, was on the top floor and is very spacious and quiet, overlooking the courtyard. The main sitting area... More

We wanted to stay in one of the quiet residential neighbourhoods of Mexico City and the Casa Comtesse was recommended to us. It truly fit the bill. Condesa, the neighbourhood, is quiet, safe (truly) and has tree lined streets and lovely Art Deco houses. When they say you are walking distance to bars and cafes this is an understatement: there... We stayed 3 nights at Casa Comtesse, and we would have stayed more (if we had a longer vacation time available to us from work). They were very lovely in helping us get set up for tours; cooking us breakfast which was tasty, and their suggestions for local spots to eat at were on point. Anjelica & Luis were super... More

I´ve stayed 3 nights at Casa Comtesse and really liked the place. The people are very friendly and helpful, if you need anything to know. The big room, where we had breakfast with all other guests is very comfortable with a good atmosphere. Our room was not that big, but the beds are very good and everything is clean. Also... More

My problem with this B&B was that 2000 pesos (around $170) disappeared from my closed bag while it was locked in our bedroom. We were careful to lock the door when we weren't in the room. The hotel management were not very helpful when we reported the missing money, just saying it must have been the maid who cleaned the... More

Hello ! First of all, we are really sorry about this loss of money. In most hotels in the world, the staff indicate that they are not responsible for any loss of cash money in the room. Specially because many people use that technic “They have stolen money from our room” to avoid paying their room. I don’t mean that... More

We passed through Mexico City on our way to Tepotzlan for the weekend and stayed for two nights. I can't think of one complaint, it was incredible, especially for the price (and I am quite picky!) Warm service, clean rooms, great decor, perfect location and even a tasty breakfast. It was so great that we actually decided to spend our... More
