We arrived to Hotel Tierra y Cielo exhausted from our drive from Palenque. We were pleasantly welcomed to a nice room and extremely hospitable staff. San cristobal is a gorgeous authentic lively Mexican town well worth a days stopover. This hotel is beautiful - rooms are lovely, restaurant exceptional, friendly staff. I doubt there's anything better in the town. Only downside is a loud nightclub at the end of the road which filtered into the rooms a little. More
