This is a first class hostel. It is modern, but by no means flashy. The beds are comfortable and most importantly, has many layers to keep you warm on those cold San Cristobal nights! Making a nightly bonfire is also a great plus & a good way to mingle. The kitchen is good & has all you need & the... More

My partner and I have been traveling Mexico for 4 months and Rossco Backpackers has been our favourite place to stay. David, one of the staff member was super accommodating as we booked a couple of nights but didn't make it to the first one, he was really helpful and arranging. The daily bonefire lit by David were one of... More

We stayed in one of the dorms which was spacious and had lockers for use, also there was enough bedding to keep you warm, as the nights here get really cold. The kitchen is well-appointed and there is a bonfire every night which is good for socialising. The hostel itself is close to the artesan and food market which is... More

I stayed at the hostel with my wife and toddler for three nights. It was a very friendly place, and we were able to meet a lot of fellow travellers. The communal kitchen was really good for that. The campfire would have been too, but it was a bit cold to sit out there with a kid. On that note,... More

A good hostel with a lot on offer. The shared areas are really good with tv, cute dogs, camp fire, wifi, kitchen etc. The staff were friendly and offered free salsa lessons. The room we booked was good value for money with a clean, private bathroom and plenty of hot water. It was a little cold but the staff were... More

Most of all its comfortable and a great place to relax... More

Its very expensive compared to other hostel's >> 150 pesos for a shared room... 180 for like a shared room with less people/no bathroom.. and even more for a shared room with a bathroom.. and there is a deposit of 50 pesos! On top of this although there is wifi in the rooms... More

Fantastic hostel with free breakfast. A converted colonial building with a garden and sun terrace. Our double room was excellent value, had an en-suite and well decorated. Lots of extra blankets for the cold evenings. More
