Casa Felipe Flores is a wonderful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of San Cristobal. The property is like a museum with interesting items that the owners have bought scattered over the rooms and the numerous private couryards. Mario, the manager, could not have been more helpful, as were the owners, David & Nancy, who even gave my wife a... More

On a quiet side street about two blocks from all the action of the pedestrian walk and main plaza is this lovely privately owned oasis. Everything we needed was here. Mario, the manager went out of his way to help us get oriented and feel welcome. Mario booked a tour for us, to some of the nearby villages, with two... More

Our stay at Casa Felipe Flores was wonderful in every way. The house has been beautifully restored and guests are made to feel 'at home' immediately with Mario Ortego's warm welcome and description of options for activities during your holiday in San Cristobal de Las Casas. All the staff are friendly and the breakfasts each morning are both tasty and... More

Charming does not begin to describe the care and taste that the owners of Casa Felipe Flores, Nancy and David, have lavished on this beautifully restored home. All guest room and public spaces are tastefully decorated with gorgeous Mexican furniture, antiques, art and crafts. The patios, terrace, and the entire environment provide beauty, tranquility, and wellbeing just blocks from the... More

Casa Felipe Flores is a stunning B&B conveniently located near the Zocalo, the mercado, the andadores, shops, etc. The collection of local art is breathtaking and well curated. There are several private patios on the ground floor, a garden in the back, and a lovely terrace on the roof with views of the beautiful rooftops of the city. Unfortunately, we... More

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The rooms are lovely, the staff (especially Mario) are exceptional, the decor is enchanting, breakfasts were delicious, location great...and on and on. Can't recommend it highly enough. San Cristobal gets very cold, the fireplace in our room and heated blankets were most welcome indeed! Also enjoyed meeting David and Nancy and learning... More

Casa Felipe Flores really could not be any better. The rooms are gorgeous - we had the little one up in the clouds, with a huge roof terrace - and the staff are wonderful, friendly and solicitous but never intrusive. There are beautiful objects everywhere, but it feels genuinely homely and relaxed. Falling asleep here, with the wood fire crackling... More

i agree with all the positive comments written about this Casa in this page. I want to add that it is particularly good for a solo traveller like I was. I stayed in a tiny roof-top room with a terrace and a great view of the city and the surrounding hills. On a sunny afternoon I enjoyed sitting there with... More

I chose this B&B based on advice from Tripadvisor members (I posted the question). It was our first visit to Chiapas and San Cristobal. I support all of the positive reviews. The place is beautiful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and attractive (with a fireplace), the breakfasts were delicious. And the staff was exceedingly attentive, especially the Mario, the manager.... More
