It was an exciting trip to Taxco, we spent a complete week in the hotel, fortunately in that time was the essay of the Miss Universe context, so we have the opportunity to watch them in their activities. From the hotel you have a beautiful seeing of the city, becuase it is located at the top of the mountain. They... More

This hotel is located a the top of the hill which is why it has a magnificent view of Taxco. Love the place. Spent one night but the pool looked so great and the restaurant food was very good. Our package included dinner, breakfast and the funicular ride and it was a great deal. Walked around town through all the... More

Haven't stayed at hotel, I come for the restaurants. BTW, teleferico = gondola lift. The bottom station is on the edge of town and the upper station ends at the hotel. It's a 4 person lift and offers great views, make sure to get roundtrip tickets. Views from hotel are great, you can see the whole town. I've eaten in... More

This hotel has a nice view of town, though it is very far from everything; one needs to take taxi to go mostly anywhere. We took the funicular to go visit the town once and had to take a taxi to complete the trip because it happened to be to far. The taxi was one of those old VW beetle... More

The Hotel urgently requires an update to its facilities. The decor is from 1960 or 1970 and it really looks old fashioned. These guys have not invested a cent to provide a good service. The bed and pillows were terrible. The air conditioned in the room was broken. There was no internal directory inside the room, no evacuation map, no... More

The hotel is located on top of the mountain and accessible by funicular or by taxi, both of which are cheap. The room had a beautiful view of Taxco below and of the pool (we did not try the latter but it looked nice). Although the hotel was old, the room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The restaurant... More

The town is lovely full of shops and silversmiths, though, silver is not cheap but they have beautiful designs, most of the jewlery is made for women, men; do not expect too much for you. The Hotel is OK but rooms are old specially bath towels and sheets. They have the most beautiful view of all the town and it... More

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. Staff was very friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant, a little overpriced and the food was ok, but it wasn´t a great meal!! I loved the view from my room and the cable car.. a really nice experience!!! More
