Stayed here in Nov 2011 as part of a tour group. This place has great views of Taxco but is very run down - for eg shabby bathroom (peeling plaster, and paint), bedlinen ancient, live wires hanging from the ceiling, rusty windows - and in a remote part of the town. It could do with a major makeover.

This hotel doesn´t have maitenance, no lights at night in corridors, parking or at the entrance. It´s 1 star, they say 3 or 4.

This big hotel is located right off the highway near the entrance to the city. Yet it's high enough on the hill and far enough from downtown to be quiet and peaceful. We were at Hotel de la Borda in Nov 09, we had room nr. 12, it is wonderful, you can see the city of Taxco from your bed every time, day and wonderful at nigth! We had picknick on the balcony of our room-super!
