The Posada Coatepec was recommended to us, however, apart from its grand architecture this hotel was completely over rated. The staff were very unfriendly to the point where we felt uncomfortable and the room was very basic for the price. There are much better hotels at a cheaper rate in Coatepec.

Very tastefully decorated and an efficient staff make this a fine place. Some of the suites are really grand but be aware that the smaller rooms are very average.
