This hotel is great! Its right in the middle of everything! It is above a fantastic restaurant and has a very accommodating staff. Our room was always clean! We would leave for breakfast and come back and it was spotless! We stayed on the 3rd floor, so we didn't get all the noise that some guests have encountered. I heard... More

Have gone back trip after trip and will only stay at the Belmar! It's like going home. Small, clean and feels like Mexico. Love the staff too, it's no nice to be welcomed back every time by name. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Only wish for a fridge in the room.

We stayed in Hotel Belmar for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. The location was central and the rooms were clean and very comfortable with all the facilities you need. The breakfast was particularly good and we enjoyed being able to order from the menu rather than having a set menu. The staff were nice and helpful. The only slight... More

We came to Isla Mujeres without any hotel reservations and came across this quaint place located above Rolandis. The price was great, the atmosphere very cozy and centrical to everything. Plus they had wi-fi at no extra charge.

If you are looking for cheap clean and decent, this is your spot. Theres nothing super special about this, but as i said it is very clean. Think of it as a nice clean Motel 6. Its in the heart of the downtown, and u can hear some noise. I was alone and paid $32 for one night alone. I... More

This hotel is well located and has a nice façade with a pretty good restaurant downstairs (Rinaldis). The hotel, however, has some really poor service and lack of consideration for their guests. Like another poster, we had to request hot water after coming home from the beach. After three unsuccessful requests we were told to simply let the water run... More

We stayed one night at the Belmar after we had some difficulties with the apartment we rented. We needed to check in early at about 11 am and there was no problem with that. We got a 3rd floor room near the back of the building and it was very private and quiet. The rooms are cute - saltillo tile... More

We got to the Belmar hotel unintentioanlly while looking for a decent place to stay. After some checking we had decided to stay at the Belmar hotel. It is a very nice hotel, placed on the main road (Hidalgo) , where all of the resturants are place. The rooms are very clean and the crew in the reception is very... More
