We stayed at La Casa Lorenzo for 8 nights and used it as our base to explore Merida and the Yucatan. The whole experience was welcoming and wonderful beginning with our point of initial contact. Larry provides a very comfortable environment, good food, nice rooms, and helpful tips for places to see and things to do. We were able to... More

We stayed at the bed and breakfast for 5 nights at the end of our 5 week travels in the Yucatan. It was an amazing place to relax and travel to the ruins and cenotes. Larry the owner is a wonderful host and cook. He made you feel right at home and was ready with information about places to go... More

La Casa Lorenzo is clean, comfortable, with well-appointed rooms and a beautiful outdoor cantina. Larry, the owner was very kind and helpful to my daughter and me. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Larry's other guests; he seems to attract well traveled, well educated guests who are a pleasure to know.

my wife and I were looking for a place to stay near our house which is being remodeled. We decided to try La Casa Lorenzo because it is only two blocks from the house. We have walked by this little B&B many times. It is identified by two flags and a blue awning out front. There are only five rooms... More

Back for a second visit! A very comfortable B&B. Everything you'd want; clean rooms, large baths, excellent mattresses, plenty of hot water, dipping pool, quiet street, very good breakfasts, a gathering place to meet other guests, close to restaurant and at a price much lower than you would expect to pay. Lorenzo is a real bargain. A good walk to the Centro... More

Much has been said, so I try to add few considtions. The b&b is a b&b, a place where breakfast in served by the owner (in the garden next to the swimming pool) to all guests together, just to help conversation and knowing one another. According to the number of rooms available (5), guests are never more then ten which... More

Happy to arrive at such a lovely location and have such a jovial host as Larry. Gracious, fun host, very comfortable bed, quiet location, easy walking to sites, breakfast made to order, and just loved Bella the cat. bb

I loved staying here. I was worried about the bed. COMFORTABLE. I have a Sleep Number Bed at home and this bed was perfect! The bathroom was important too and that is 5 stars. Great Shower! Larry was very welcoming with a great sense of humor, great cook, and pours a GREAT drink! Thanks Larry for making my week awesome!
