Don't really agree with some of the other reviews. Yes some of the rooms at this hotel are small but it was very comfortable with hot water and good water pressure in the bathrooms. Fantastic location in the main downtown area of Merida. I found this place clean and secure with great wifi access too. More

My shower didn't work. I told reception and they 'went to fix it'. I came back at the end of the day and nothing had happened. I insisted on showering in another room. All pretty inconvenient. Not pleasant staff. Unhelpful and didn't care. More

We stayed two nights at Hotel Caribe in Merida. The room was a good size, but showing its age, as was the entire hotel. The beds were older, as well. dark, dingy tiny rooms! Central downtown location and that's the only positive thing you can say about the place. Food was dreadful and towels were threadbare. The a/c had two temperatures...off or freezing. More
