This month I had the opportunity to visit Merida and stayed in this hotel, out from downtown, with all services, young and efficient personnel that were willing to give you the best experience. This is definetely was the best since I used Merida to visit the Mayan Places. This was the link with the present

Room, service, amenities, cleanliness were all up to the excellent standards - if you've stayed in holiday inn express before, expect a replica. Only disadvantage - its really out in the boonies and one needs to have their own conveyance. Else spend 160-200 pesos (to and fro) every time you want to go downtown.

Stayed here during a missions trip, very modern, clean, great food which was different each day with fresh fruit, and freshly made juice, nice pool area, and I like that you have to have the card key to use the elevator!! Felt very secure!! Will come back again.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn express for one night (before having to switch to the Holiday Inn). The location is so/so - there are no restaurants around to walk to. This is walking distance from the trade show and a mall. Rooms were comfortable. Wifi worked fine, but limited to 2 devices per room (I had laptop, kindle, and iPhone) The free breakfast is pretty bad by Mexican buffet standards. Nice hotel on the north side of town basically across the street from the Merida convention center. Not much else you can walk to from there but Galeria Merida (mall) and other locations are a short drive, hotel van, or taxi ride. The hotel is very clean and the staff very helpful. We stayed over Christmas, nice location near shopping centers and the new Siglo 21. Comfortable and new hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Rooms are big and comfy, walking distance to Chedragui, the circus ant the Holiday on Ice. Hotel has a van service to shopping centers, movies.

This hotel is set away from other hotels. It is located behind the convention center,museum & the mall! All are actually in walking distance!
