Step back in time and experience the life of a great hacienda in the time of sisal production. The accommodations are gracious and lovely - no TV, no noise - the tour of grounds and buildings will mean more if you have Spanish, but see them regardless. A highlight of any trip to the Yucatan.

Not for everyone, but if you want a unique experience whilst in the Yucatan this is the place for you! Once the hacienda closes at 6pm you are home alone, therefore if you like a busy crazy evening this is not the place for you. We recommend everyone to visit this unrestored hacienda - its absolutly beautiful. We also decided to stay the night in one of the two guestrooms.
