I was looking for an inexpensive hotel in Merida and checked in to the Flamingo. I really wanted to like the place. We saw this hotel advertised in The Rough Guide to Mexico. The hotel was practically empty yet we appeared to be given their worst room. --- I am writing about this hotel mainly as it was recommended to me by tourist information in Merida bus station. I can't imagine why.
