We stayed at the El Dorado Maroma for 4 nights last May, but I never posted a review. This resort is wonderful! Check-in was quick and easy, and everything about our stay was great. “Nice beach (a little smelly), few rooms with any view, terrible food.”

I'm giving the hotel an "average" rating based on other resorts that I have stayed at in Mexico. The good: Most of the staff was friendly. Pretty good cocktails. The not-so-good: Although the beach was nice, we kept smelling a sulfer/rotten egg/sewage type smell.
