What a wonderful place this hostel is - The sweetheart Chelo will take you under her wing and treat you like her child from the moment you walk in the door. Her & her son have designed and built this place themselves and you can see it was made with love. Yet somehow, each family member you meet working there... More

The free bikes idea is brilliant, you can visit many of the cenotes on bike easily ( and i'm not a sporty person) and the owner - the sweetest woman alive- explains all the routes to the cenotes. Also to get to the ruins and the beach the location out of town is better, you simply cross the highway and... More

We were so lucky that we found this place on line. The rooms were basic but very secure and the beds were comfortable. We loved our upstairs room - if felt like you were in a tree fort which was such fun. The people running the hostel were amazing and so very helpful. The hostel is on the highway straight... More

Booked this hostel on a recommendation from a friend ... ending up staying 4 nights! Yes, $22 is on the expensive side, but it's absolutely wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean. Staff is uber friendly (I want Chelo to be my grandmother). Breakfast is the best in town and keeps you full until late afternoon! I... More

Loved this place! The rooms are simple but nice & clean. there is a nice garden area to sit, hammock area, eating/table & games room. You get bikes for free so you can ride into town which is only 5-10 minutes & the beach about the same. The breakfast was amazing everyday. Thry also have free drinking water & a... More

This place is awesome. If you like want to meet really wonderful people from all over the world, stay somewhere you feel welcome, get a hug from the owner, eat a delicious homemade breakfast every morning with everyone staying in the hostel, be around adorable cats, a few pups, and other animals, be near the beach and ruins, have bikes... Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend and 14 year old sister. Tree top like houses either dorm style or private with shared washrooms. The woman who is the owner of the property was very inviting and made us feel right at home the moment we got there. They have complimentary bike service so you can bike ( along... More

Friend and I stayed 2 nights here and we LOVED it. We love the fact you get the bike included in the price and can just cycle into town or down to the beach. Yes, it is on a main road, but there was no problem with noise or anything. The owners are really nice and will prepare breakfast for... More

I stayed there for 1 night, the hostel is quite gud and the owner lady and her son were quite helpful. The gud thing is that they know English which was very helpful. The rooms are ok but there are some issues. Firstly, the hostel is located right on the highway so all night there is lot of noise of... More
