I made this trip to San Miguel to have a nice weekend with my family (kids included) in San Miguel. The hotel IS NOT at walking distance from the city center, however the gardens and the big pool shown in the hotel pictures attracted my attention, I thought the kids would have a nice time. However the pool was freezing... More

I have been traveling in Mexico and Central America for over a month, mostly very sucessfully relying on TripAdvisor reviews. This was my first real failure. The location is bad. The hotel is about 5 miles from the town center with nothing much around it. Mexico uses speed bumps to control traffic in populated areas. There are several directly in... More

I stayed here for a wedding near the lake, so this was a perfect location. What a wonderful surprise to find my room, actually called a Villa, to have a good sized living room, kitchen, bedroom with balcony, and a large bath for 760 pesos. The rooms were well insulated - I didn't hear any noise from any other part... More

Quick note/disclosure before I write the full review: I did not choose to stay here but instead did so because one of my best friends was going to have his wedding here. The only real reason to go to San Miguel de Allende is to be IN San Miguel de Allende so you can step right out of your hotel... More

The suite or villa at this hotel was very nice, spacious, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very nice at the front desk and at the restaurant. The restaurant serves a wide array of delicious Mexican dishes. Our waiter was very nice and their food was very good. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.... More

Returned this week from touring Guanajuato area and stayed 4 days at this hotel. Staff we most accommodating and willing to run us into town by Hotel shuttle anytime. (no charge) Returned by taxi which cost an average of $3. Mega supermacado down the road with wonderful roast chickens if you don't want a restaurant meal. Dinner in the hotel,... More

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Miguel. I stayed there for 2 nights during a bus tour of Mexico over spring break. The rooms are beautiful, especially the suites which come with three balconies, a living room, a kitchen, two bedrooms (4 beds), and two bathrooms. The bathrooms had large, sunken, spanish tiled bathtub/shower combos with... More
