We are two friends who visited San Miguel de Allende early March 2012 for a few days. Delightful well-situated hotel, excellent service which certainly added to our enjoyment of San Miguel. Can certainly recommend. Carol H More

Highly recommend staying here. Everything from the staff, the cuisine to a wonderful room hit the spot. Truly a gem and quite a unique hotel. If you have the budget, this is the place to stay. More

My husband and I stayed at Dos Casas to celebrate our anniversary. Since the moment we arrived we felt at home. The manager Giselle received us with a beautiful and welcoming smile. They gave us an upgrade to a master suite where we had our own private jacuzzi. The weather was a little cold but the last night we decided... More

I can't imagine one more thing the staff as Dos Casas could have done to make our trip more enjoyable! The Hotel is romantic, quiet, beautiful, spotlessly clean and the food amazing. It's located in the heart of the city of San Miguel. We were able to come and go all hours of the day feeling absolutely safe. Our reservations... More

From the minute you walk into the hotel you are amazed by the decor and the friendly staff. The chef, Dina Butterfield's market tour and cooking class were fabulous. We have stayed at many hotels in San Miguel but nothing like this one. Very clean and cozy it felt like you were at home. I really enjoyed sitting in the... More

Met a group of friends there at the restaurant for dinner and was totally unimpressed. Whichever reviewer said that the menu was extensive obviously does not have a sophisticated palate. Half the menu was pasta. Soup of the day was tomato soup. Cocktails were unimpressive. My tuna was overcooked and arrived cold. My boyfriend's burger didn't even come with a... More

My recent stay at Dos Casas was an absolute pleasure. Top-notch in every way. Comfortable, large, tasteful and beautifully decorated rooms. Fabulous restaurant, bar, welcoming and professional staff, great location. Thank you to Elahandra, Julio, Dina and Giselle for being such marvelous and warm innkeepers. I will be back! More

My husband and I with other 2 couples stayed there for 2 nights a weekend in September. The hotel is totally overpriced, you can go to a much better hotel for that price like the Matilda, which offers you so much more. The staff at the restaurant where we had breakfast, had a very mediocre attitude. The food was vey... More

My wife and I recently stayed in the Master Suite, El Patio, at Dos Casas. We had a great experience and especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub out on the terrace and the steam shower inside. We also found the king sized mattress to be very comfortable and slept well after long days of exploring San Miguel. Our every need was... More
