A year ago I stayed for a week while my wife Lynne was in the nearby orthopaedic hospital having a new hip. Debbie and Tony were the perfect hosts and the Fitzwarine became my lovely second home. We’ve stayed twice since and each time the Fitzwarine was excellent.. Comfortable room, superb night’s sleep, fabulous location, and award-winning breakfast. Thoroughly recommendable.

My Dad stayed here and thought it was fantastic. Friendly greeting by the owners, clean accommodation and a good night's sleep. Followed by a fantastic breakfast. Would definitely use again. Whittington is a loverly village and we sampled one of the pubs, The White Lion, for our evening meal and it really exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I stayed a night here and recieved a lovely welcome from the couple running this BnB. Very homely, cosy comfy room with lots of features and great facilities. Two nice pubs very close for dining out and evening drinks. Cooked breakfast really good with full vegetarian option provided. Happy customers.

A great little place to stay. A warm welcome, clean and confortable room with all faciliities, and a big breakfast choice that set us up for the day.
